ALEXANDER MAKOTO "MAKO" DAVIS
Owner - Managing Partner -
Administration/Systems Designer
Over 27 years in the custom AV industry, Mako is Proficient and certified in AMX, Control4, Universal Remote Control, Niles, Elan, Luxul, Araknis, Ruckus and Pakedge systems design and programming. He is also an advanced custom fabrication specialist and Acoustic Treatment Design Specialist, as well as, a calibrator for Acurus, Trinnov and DIRAC.
He is an amateur gourmet chef.
MIKE SMART
Owner - Managing Partner -
Service/Systems Designer
Over 22 years in the retail AV industry, Mike was an Installation Manager at Sound advice for 10 years. Proficient and Certified in Control4, Universal Remote Control, Niles, Elan, Luxul, Araknis and Pakedge Networks Systems design and programmer.
Mike played the Saxophone and toured for an international band called Puya.
KURT PENDLETON
Owner - Managing Partner -
Sales/Systems Designer
Over 30 years in the AV industry. Certified Crestron DMC-E4K Engineer. Previous owner of Wave Entertainment, Sound Ideas and Audio Imagery. THX (I,II and Video) and Audyssey Pro Certified. Proficient with programming and/or design in Crestron, Control4, Universal Remote Control, Procontrol, Elan, Access control, DSC, GE Interlogix, Honeywell and Leviton Omni automation panels. Customer conscious and excellent troubleshooter.
He is a Certified Full Cave Scuba Diver, enjoys movies and used to do the voice of Kermit the Frog.
IAN BOWERS
Lead Savvy Technician
Ian started complex commercial system installations at age 17. After trying his hand at residential installations, Ian's skills expanded into an expertise of "tough jobs; made simple" and maneuvering wiring. Able to fit under sub-floors and up into condo ceilings, Ian has installed wire in "places people shouldn't be able to go". When Ian is not being "tech savvy", you may find him getting exercise on his skateboard or at the park with his dog, Ruby. In the rare occasion of rain in the Sunshine State, Ian also loves playing video games and the guitar.
TONY MATTURRO
Lead Savvy Technician
Anthony has been installing and designing audio/video systems for the last 18 years. He started in phone and data for Lee county where he would run and terminate 300 wires a day. After that, Anthony moved into high-end custom residential work. This is where he polished his skill to become proficient and certified in Control 4, Lutron, URC and Luxul system design and programming. He is now one of Tech Savvy's proudest and newest additions.
Anthony grew up on a farm and loves working on cars and riding BMX.
SHANNON MATTURRO
Savvy Administration Assistant
Shannon worked at Publix for 6 years where she learned valuable people skills. She then went on to do trim carpentry for 3 years. After that, Shannon was a stay at home mom for 5 years and went on from there to work at a guard gate for a gated community for 4 years where her people skills took a step to the next level. Shannon did home care for 1 year, took a little time off, then started filing paperwork, filling out mailers and other odds and ends for work. Shannon will be a huge asset for our marketing program and office team. She loves to cook and play video games.

MITCH FADEN
Savvy Accounting and Support
Mitch has a great understanding of electronics and how they work in today's business model. After spending 10 years as a Sales Manger at Circuit City, Mitch moved on to custom audio/video as a Project Manager for 2 years at Florida Home Entertainment Design, inc. (a CE Pro Top100 Integrator). He was an owner of Specialty Electronics, inc. in Naples, Florida for 7 years. Mitch also was the Store Manager of an Autozone for 7 years, so he knows how to manage a successful business.
We are excited to include his passion, experience and drive to our mission of bringing the best in Audio/Video and security products, install quality and service in the SouthWest Florida area.
Some fun things that Mitch likes to do are reading science fiction and fantasy books, Watching movies, Playing video games and exploring new electronic gadgets.
Cory Westfall
Savvy Technician
Cory has been enjoying working with Tech Savvy and is a integral component and seems like a family member. We are proud to have him because he always brings laughter to the work environment, is polite and soft spoken. He is eager to learn more of this industry and is quite handy with construction and understands current building practices.
In his spare time, Cory loves working on cars, enjoys fishing for entertainment and has been an excellent asset.
Yunier "J.R." Aguirre
Lead Savvy Technician
Yunier, or J.R. as he likes to be called, has been a cable technician for 2 years for Hotwire and Comcast. While learning about customer relations and the latest in consumer internet and entertainment, he moved into the custom Audio/Video field and has been honing his skills for the past 3 years.
J.R. is certified in and has focused his knowledge as a Control 4 Associate Installer, Centralized lighting, Josh AI programmer, URC Complete Control and Total Control and more.
J.R. is our newest Lead Tech and his soft spoken, professional manner will transcend into the projects that he creates. His workmanship is detailed and organized which adds value to any clients project.
For fun, he likes to ride his motorcycle and jet skis on the weekends or go fishing.
